This is where I posted a few recordings of my radio show, The Roots of Rock, which aired on WHPK Chicago every Thursday morning from 2-4am. I did it for 2 years, but only requested a few recordings from the station personnel.
The station is still up and running and you can listen live on the air at 88.5FM, or you can stream it live at whpk.org.
My show included the best blues and rock tracks from the 40's - early 70's, all on vinyl (and most of it on original pressings).
I had a lot of fun with it, but sadly had to give it up when I moved away from Chicago. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed melting them (no that's wrong!). :D
